Cracking the Trend: My Homemade Dubai Chocolate Experiment

If you have been scrolling through social media lately, you have probably seen the viral Dubai Chocolate—that thick, decadent chocolate bar stuffed with a crispy, vibrant green filling.

As someone passionate about baking and culinary management, I just had to step into the kitchen and try making it myself.

For those who don’t know, the magic of this chocolate bar lies entirely in the texture. It combines high-quality tempered chocolate with a rich filling made of:

  • Kadaif (Kataifi) pastry: Shredded phyllo dough fried in premium butter until golden and perfectly crispy.
  • Pistachio cream & paste: For that signature nutty flavor and beautiful green color.
  • Tahini: A touch of sesame paste to balance the sweetness.

Getting the texture right is a precise science. The pastry must remain incredibly crunchy, while the chocolate shell needs that perfect “snap” when you bite into it.

I took a photo of my final creation, which I am uploading right below this text as part of my WordPress class exercise!

Have you tried the viral Dubai chocolate yet? Do you prefer it ultra-sweet, or with a higher percentage of dark chocolate? Let me know in the comments!
