My Background in Aviation & Hospitality

Welcome to my culinary and hospitality sanctuary!

I am a retired Inflight Service Manager with over 30 years of extensive experience in the international airline industry, including 8 dedicated years in high-level service training and corporate development. Throughout my career, I managed elite inflight service teams, ensuring that the highest global standards of hospitality, cultural sensitivity, and precision were delivered to premium passengers on every flight.

My lifelong passion for excellence in hospitality naturally extended into the culinary arts. To combine my organizational leadership with my love for gastronomy, I earned a Diploma in Culinary Management. Cooking and baking are not just skills to me—they are a precise science and an art form that brings people together.

As a newcomer from Hong Kong now calling Toronto home, I have founded Rochelle’s Home Cook Academy T.O. My mission is to share my deep expertise in a diverse array of authentic Asian and multicultural cuisines, including:

  • Hong Kong & Cantonese Classics: Preserving the authentic, comforting heritage flavors.
  • Traditional Chinese & Taiwanese Dishes: Mastering the balance of wok hei and precise seasoning.
  • Japanese Cuisine & Fusion Pastas: Blending meticulous Japanese techniques with modern Western executions.
  • Artisanal Baking: From high-fat butter scones to modern pastry trends like the viral Dubai Chocolate.

In addition to my culinary credentials, I hold a Diploma in Psychotherapy. This unique background allows me to understand human connection on a deeper level. I believe the kitchen is a space for healing, mindfulness, and building community.

Through this digital space, I apply the same uncompromising service standards from my 30-year career to my home-based start-up. Whether you are a food enthusiast looking to master a new dish, a fellow lifelong learner, or someone who appreciates the dedication behind a perfect recipe, I invite you to join me on this flavorful journey.

Let’s connect, cook, and build a culture of trust together.
